Sandiswa Mgolozeli (25), who graduated with a BTech degree in 2018 from the institution’s Buffalo City Campus, scooped top honours under the ‘Women in ICT, Media and Public Relations’ category of this year’s second edition of the BCMM Women In Business Celebrations event which took place on Friday 30 August.

“I’m extremely honoured to be receiving such an important award. I’m eternally grateful for the recognition I continue to receive for my work amongst other equally capable and talented women in the business space,” said Mgolozeli.

At the centre of her ever growing notoriety and success are her companies Epitomely PRM and Epitomely Interior Decorators – a PR and marketing agency as well as an interior design company which she founded in 2018.

This latest achievement has been preceded by numerous other accolades, including winning at this year’s South African Heroes Awards under the ‘Business Empowerment category, whilst she was also recently nominated as a finalist at this year’s Standard Bank Top Women Awards in the ‘Young Achiever’ category.

“These awards and nominations wouldn’t be possible without the inspiring efforts of entrepreneurs who have paved the way for people like myself to be able to penetrate the market. These are people who have guided and nurtured me and continue to inspire me to rise above any limitations,” said Mgolozeli.

Following her irrepressible exploits in business since founding Epitomely, Mgolozeli has also been recently chosen, out of 6 782 applicants, to participate in the United Nations Asia World Model conference set to take place in Singapore in November.
