RESEARCH
Faculty research is informed by essential national health priorities. The Faculty Research NICHE areas include Human Nutrition, Medicinal Plants, Chronic Diseases, HIV/Aids, Health Systems and Medical Education. currently have flagship programmes in collaboration with the South African Medical Research Council, namely TB pericarditis project, MRC HVTN, HIV Vaccine Trials project, Research Development Programme, MRC/NIH/John Hopkins University Collaboration.
