Overall Purpose of the Qualification
- The aim of the qualification is to develop the applied competence of the students on an advanced level in the acquisition, analysis, interpretation and application of public affairs principles and methods.
- The programme will prepare students to reflect on their own and be able to apply Public Administrations and Management theories and principles in solving everyday challenges.
Entrance Requirements
- A Bachelor degree with a rating of at least 5 (60-69%) and above in Public Administration III as a major.
- Appropriate Advanced Diploma from any recognised institution with a rating of at least 5 (60-69%) and above in the Research component (Research & Information Systems + Research Paper).
Recognition of Prior Learning is given priority.
Prior learning shall be recognised subject to the requirements of each programme as per WSU’s Recognition of Prior Learning Policy (RPL).
Duration
One year full-time programme.
