Rules and Regulations
The possession of a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or its equivalent shall serve as a general minimum admission requirement in this programme.
Entrance Requirements
National Senior Certificate
Applicants with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) must meet the requirements set out in this prospectus. They should have English (Home or Additional Language) 4 (50-59), Mathematics 3 (40-49), Mathematical Literacy 5 (60-69).
Senior Certificate Requirement
Applicants with SC (Old Senior Certificate) must meet the requirements set out in this prospectus. They should have passed English HG-E or SG-D, Mathematics HG-E or SG-D, Physical Science HG-E or SG-D.
National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4
Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational-Level4) must meet the requirements set out in this prospectus. A Pass in all 3 Fundamental subjects with 50% and above (English, Life Orientation and Mathematics).
Pass with 60% and above in 3 of the Vocational subjects: Systems Analysis and Design, Data Communication and Networking, Computer Programming & Physical Science.
Duration
A three-year diploma for mainstream and four years for the extended programme

Rules and Regulations

Entrance Requirements
National Senior Certificate
Applicants with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) must meet the requirements set out in this prospectus. They should have English (Home or Additional Language) 3 (40-49), Mathematics 2 (30-39), Mathematical Literacy 3 (40-49).
National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4
Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational-Level4) must meet the requirements set out in this prospectus. A Pass in all 3 Fundamental subjects with 50% and above (English, Life Orientation and Mathematics).

DIPLOMA: FINANCIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Rules and Regulations
The possession of a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or its equivalent shall serve as a general minimum admission requirement in this programme.
Entrance Requirements
A National Senior Certificate and pass at least 4 subjects with an achievement rating of level 3 (40% - 49%) and above.
Alternatively, a Higher or Advanced Certificate in the cognate field.
National Certificate (Vocational) – NC (V)
- 40% and above pass in three (3) fundamental subjects (English, Mathematics & Life Orientation) / 50% or more for Mathematics Literacy.
OR
- 40% and above pass in three (3) compulsory vocational subjects (Applied Accounting, Economic Environment & Financial Management).
In addition to the above, the minimum Admission Point Score (APS) for admission is 21 for seven subjects.
