Overview
Walter Sisulu University prides itself as a value-driven institution which through quality teaching and learning, research, innovation and community engagement, inspires future-ready graduates to become responsible citizens who are able to address complex societal challenges in critical, ethical, scholarly, sustainable and entrepreneurial ways.
It continues to develop its staff pedagogically and promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and it will continue to infuse ICTs in teaching and learning.
The Learning and Teaching Division is a value-driven, technology-infused division, conducting programmes and offering services that are responsive to the learning and teaching needs of Walter Sisulu University students and staff.
The Division’s mission is to provide quality education through the capacity building of academics in technology -infused learning and teaching methodologies that are student-centred, lead to student success and are valued by stakeholders.
The Learning and Teaching Division exists to enable epistemological access through technology-infused learner-centred education support.
