Entry Requirements

  The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Honours programme is designed to equip successful students with a solid framework to:

• independently handle both high level postgraduate research in chemistry
• handle advanced chemical concepts from among the contemporary and emerging discipline areas.

The programme is presented with a higher degree of flexibility to cater for the student’s own cognitive inclinations and preferences in high level chemistry without stressing Institutional resources and upsetting the balance of available professional expertise.

Bachelor ‘s degree with achievement not less than 60% for the major third year Chemistry modules.

Candidates who fall below this minimum may be admitted at the discretion of the Department.
